  23. Frank, I thought that was exactly the point.
  24. The 1988 version of szrz, that I use, is public domain, and uses stdin and
  25. stdout, making it redirectable.
  26. The only newer versions I have seen specifically use /dev/tty (If I recall
  27. correctly), and comments near that point indicate that a hack to make it
  28. redirectable is a violation of copyright.
  29. I have not pursued a newer version of ZModem from Chuck, because I thought
  30. he has made it clear in this group (and others) that the current usage of
  31. Unix-ZModem is only to talk to registered PC ZModem products.
  32. Any other usage, including Unix-to-Unix, is not allowed.
